A Message from Stacy Monson:

Being an author is all I’ve ever wanted to do. So far I have published 5 full-length novels and a whole bunch of anthology stories. I will be releasing book 2 in the My Father’s House series in April 2026 – When Valleys Mourn! After a 4-year hiatus from writing while I was caregiving for my hubby, I’m thrilled to be back at it. I live outside the Twin Cities in Minnesota with my daughter’s family (5 grands under 12), my old golden Emmy, and a bunch of chickens. I LOVE being out in the country.

The stories I write have one major underlying theme: identity. Our identity is found first and foremost in the God who created us, saved us from ourselves, and adores us. Regardless of who our earthly parents are, our DNA starts with God. Once we grasp that, we can know that He loves and accepts us as we are—sins and all. He wants what’s best for us and provides everything we need before we even ask.

As the third child of four living in the chaos of a crumbling marriage (way back before divorce became common), I craved quiet, peace, and stability. Writing stories saved me from getting lost in the anger and confusion of a broken family. Now looking back, I see God present in the life of a timid middle child who needed what only He could offer—unconditional love, unwavering presence, and total acceptance. I discovered my identity was rooted in Him, not in the chaos around me. That truly was a relief. Isn’t He awesome?

I am one of the founders of The Mosaic Collection, and to this day I thank God for the unexpected blessing of being part of this talented group of professional authors and sisters in Christ.
