You are not alone. What you’re going through is not unique to you. Life isn’t a series of obstacles to overcome, but a series of events that point us to Jesus, who loves us more than we can imagine.

As I grew up, I knew that to NOT trust God was just wrong. God was all-knowing, all-seeing, He loves me, and He wants the best for me. But when I was a teen, I found myself doubting that I really mattered. We moved out of state for a good reason. A God-reason, even. My parents were called into short-term missions that led to four years on the mission field - three in Indiana working at the denominational camp, and one in Wyoming helping as laypersons in a struggling church.

Trust God and do the next right thing.

I wasn’t ready to leave the comfort of my home, my school, my boyfriend, but God saw fit to move us, and I knew that I had to comply. That’s what a good Christian girl did, right? I found myself distancing myself from God, all the while doing all the things that a “good girl” does, and with a smile on my face.

I became bitter, inwardly, toward God, and for years I kept a part of myself away from God. I found myself yearning for a closer walk with God, and that’s when I made a discovery: my life-verse didn’t mean what I had thought it meant. When I truly delight myself in the Lord, He will give me HIS desires, not put His stamp of approval on what I desire!

God is good, God is faithful, and God uses our brokenness to draw us closer to Him.

Regina will guide you down the path but will allow you to join the discussion of decisions needing to be made between the characters through questions of their own, along with the abiding faith that God will see them through anything and everything. Her characters are well developed with strong values.
